Sheila reviews Ragdale Hall, Melton Mowbray
Ragdale Hall for me is definitely the best place to be when you need some 'Me Time'. Set in the peaceful Leicestershire countryside, it is a haven of attractive well tended grounds, tranquil lakes and a beautiful building.
You drive up to the front door, and from then onwards, Ragdale staff take over. Your car is parked, your luggage transferred to your clean, comfortable room, a staff member then takes you under his or her wing, and explains what and how everything happens, and you are taken on a tour.
I have been visiting Ragdale since the 1970s, and although I have visited many many spas, none has quite equalled Ragdale. The food is delicious, beautifully served, in a dining room that has been carefully extended from the room I first entered many years ago! Each time I visit, something has been added to make your stay more memorable - why not try it for yourself!
