Ms Clark reviews Eastthorpe Hall, Mirfield
I have to say I was extremely dissapointed with this spa! I was really looking forward to a great day at the spa to celebrate a birthday. Everything went well until one of the members of our party got her package mistaken (by staff) and they had to take time to figure out what treatments she was supposed to have. This held us up around 20 minutes and for the rest of our time there we were rushed.
They did not even let one of our party members dry their hair because "the chef was waiting" and then when we got to the dining area we had to queue for about 15 minutes! The food was lovely and service was excellent but I must say I think the staff have lost the plot, they seemed very moody and confrontational.
I left a guest comment saying that we felt rushed and they called a member of our party to complain about my comment! They did not apologize but really seemed angry about the comment that I made and not this person. I would NOT patronize this spa ever again and don't recommend anyone else to. Very unfortunate.
