I was given a gift voucher for my 50th birthday for a aromatherapy massage. I am now the big 50, and still a spa virgin! Needless to say I was very nervous having never had a massage before. I called the spa to book my appointment, and had a friendly conversation with one of the therapists, who put me at ease and explained how I would spend my day with them. I decided to make a day of it! I included the leisure facilities and booked a light lunch in the hotel bar.
I arrived on the day and had a very friendly welcome, My highlights of the day where relaxing poolside, stretching out and nearly falling asleep in the steam room and sauna. The massage was sooo relaxing and really made my old body feel a million dollars.
The day was fantastic! I feel 21 again! I plan to treat my wife later on in the year.
