I was lucky enough to enjoy the most sumptuous treatments at Ushvani Spa on Thursday and I felt compelled to submit a review as it was truly amazing.
The spa itself has a Malaysian philosophy and from the moment you step through the door you are personally greeted and ushered in, where the removal of shoes is required and sleepers are given - as per the traditions of Malaysian households. Every detail of the spa has been carefully thought out, from the signature fragrance in the air, the service from the therapists who exude true passion for the spa and the treatments that they deliver. I can not fault it one bit. The beautiful wooden carvings down the staircase, the huge aquarium in reception there has been no expense spared.
The warmth of the hydrotherapy pool eased away the stresses of travelling through London and I soon forgot that I was steps away from the busy Kings Road. I used the steam and experience shower and then melted away on a comfortable cushioned lounger in the relaxation room before being taken through for the real pièce de résistance…
I was treated to a 90minute signature facial that was given to me as a voucher. As a regular spa-goer this has got to be the absolute best facial I have ever received. Described as a holistic facial, it involved so much massage that included lymph drainage and pressure point work over the entire face, neck and scalp and I was in heaven. The products used were Ushvani’s own range of naturally sourced ingredients. I purchased their Hibiscus and Kemiri Face Mask as the wrinkles on my forehead were visibly reduced following the treatment.
I can not recommend this spa enough, it really feels like its yours during your stay and I would definitely return again… It is pricey but worth it for a real indulgent treat or if like me after many hints, Im hoping to receive another Ushvani voucher for my birthday!!
