Kate reviews Eastthorpe Hall, Mirfield
My mother, a friend and I treated ourselves to a wonderful day at Eastthorpe Hall on Saturday 9th January. After a week struggling to work through the snow, it was lovely to be greeted at the hall by a snow angel! The warm welcome inside was even better. We had all visited before and knew what to expect but we were amazed at how quickly we relaxed and enjoyed looking out at the snow in the beautiful grounds whilst sitting in front of a log fire in our dressing gowns.
The therapists were delightful, very friendly, explaining the treatment you were going to have and making sure that you were comfortable. The treatments themselves were fantastic and we became so chilled out it was difficult to make the effort to get up for the next treatment.
The midmorning croissant and delicious drink are very welcome after all the hard work relaxing. The lunch though is something else-beautifully prepared organic food, that is worthy of an award in itself!! Served with wine or champagne, depending on your package.
Then back to further relaxation in front of the fire before you move on to have some more treatments. Followed by afternoon tea.
The surroundings are spotlessly clean and well kept with delightful staff and different packages for treatment to suit each person.
We will hopefully be going back very soon!
