Anne reviews Runnymede Hotel & Spa, Egham
I was given a gift voucher for a massage at the Runnymede Hotel. I was looking forward to this but was very disappointed.
The therapist who gave the massage was different to the one booked and when shown into the room I was asked to confirm that I was there for a eyebrow shape and massage. When told this was wrong the therapist went out to check, came back and said as they had made a mistake I would be given a 45 min massage as opposed to a 25 min one. But in fact I was given a 25 min massage.
This massage was very disappointing. I kept waiting for it to improve and to feel good but unfortunately it did not. When the therapist finished and said you can get dressed now, I couldn't believe it was over with no pleasant sensation at all, very, very disappointing.
I was then kept waiting ages in reception after handing over my voucher and told to pay £31, just another error. I will not be returning to the Runnymede Hotel.
