Ian reviews Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa
We were staying the night at the Rowhill Grange Spa. At approximately 9am in the morning we were woken by horrendous banging sounds. This lasted for approximately 10 minutes. Then the ceiling started to shake and 3 bits of plaster dislodged from the ceiling and hit me on my face and chest.
I got out of bed and phoned for the Duty Manager then went to the toilet. Luckily my girlfriend also left the bed and sat on a chair at the side of the room. When in the toilet I heard an almighty crash. I entered the room to find my girlfriend sitting on the chair shaking as 2 air-conditioning fans had come through the ceiling. One landed on the bed where my girlfriend had been moments earlier and the second was resting next to her feet.
