Great treatments at Barnham Broom
Just to let you know that the treatments at Barnham Broom were excellent. Three of us went for a treat and a chance to catch up, as we hadn't seen each other for five years. The rooms in the hotel are huge and the beds very comfortable.
The treatments were excellent. We all had a massage and facial and agreed that the therapists were top quality. We didn't use the pool, as it is the other end of the hotel. We were taken into the bar for our lunch and it was full of golfers... we felt very exposed in our robes, so sat outside on the terrace which was a little more private. The lunch choice wasn't very spa-like -- no salads and our baked potatoes with toppings were only ok. But we had a glass of bubbly, sat in the sun and gossiped, and the staff were all friendly and willing.
I would go again for a treatment, but would like to see them re-arrange things so that spa goers have some privacy. There is plenty of space and they could easily section off part of the huge lounge.
