Lissie loves SenSpa at Careys Manor in The New Forest
Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed my recent visit to senspa. I've been to a lot of spas around the world including Asia and it doesn't get a lot better than this one.
I took a bit of a risk as I had not been there before and I was entertaining a good friend visiting from abroad and because we had so little time together I wanted to make it really special so it was important that it lived up to the promise. It did. It is sensational and well deserves the 5 bubbles you've awarded it.
The facilities, the treatments and the food are really special and the staff are magic. They couldn't have been more helpful. I was wondering what a Thai themed spa in England would be like and I was a bit concerned that it might be Disneyish, but the decor is beautifully done, the feeling is relaxed and warm and the food every bit as good as the best Thai restaurants.
The hydrotherapy is fantastic and there is lots of space to relax afterwards. I had the Prana body scrub which the therapist told me she had made up fresh for me, then their Sen Fusion Massage which is one of the best I've ever had anywhere. My friend had a Hydrating Facial and the Auryvedic Head massage which relaxed her to speechlessness which is practically impossible.
My only regret is that we didn't stay the night as we were so relaxed it was a chore to drive. Will I return? Definitely, but next time I'll stay overnight.
