I just wanted to share with your readers my experience at Rookery Hall Spa in Nantwich.
I booked the "two for £99" deal which allows you and a friend to enjoy the facilities plus two mini treatments from a list. I was treating my mum for her birthday so chose two luxury treatments to add on to the mini treatments to make the day extra special.
The spa receptionist who took my booking was very friendly and helpful. She e-mailed me a lovely gift letter describing the gorgeous treatments which I had chosen for us both to enjoy. I was able to put this in mum's birthday card so she knew what a fantastic day I had planned. We were not disappointed. Everything was wonderful from the moment we arrived.
The hotel and spa grounds are very picturesque. We were received at the spa very efficiently and a spa hostess gave us our consultation forms to fill in. She then showed us to the changing room, provided us with our robes and spa slippers and gave us a plan of our day so we knew exactly where we needed to be and when.
We used the pool, hydrotherapy pool, steam room and sauna -- all areas were clean with pleasant decor. The day flowed beautifully, no rushing at all. We had a light lunch at the brasserie which was nice and the service good. All the staff at Rookery are friendly, helpful and experienced. Our treatments were: a luxury pedicure, full body scrub, file and polish (hands) and holistic back, face and scalp treatment with hot stones.
The treatments were all wonderful but the holistic hot stones treatment was incredible! I am no stranger to spa treatments but I have never experienced anything as therapeutic as this. The combination of the hot stones with the oils and the expert therapist working the stress out of my shoulders was utter bliss. Then followed a luxurious facial and a relaxing head massage. I slithered off the bed most reluctantly when the treatment ended.
I would highly recommend Rookery Hall Spa and will definitely be returning myself, soon I hope...
