Chris reviews Waterfall Spa, Leeds
I took my daughter to Waterfall Spa in Leeds in September 2008 to unwind prior to her wedding. The receptionist was far from welcoming and didn't manage a smile or pleasant greeting and opened the spa late!
I found the changing area rather small and would have liked some privacy when getting changed rather than the communal room. We found the hydrotherapy pool area disappointing since the lights weren't working over the beach area. The experience shower was cold on both settings and the toilet seat was broken.
I understood from the website that snacks and treats were included in the package but when I asked the staff what these were I was given a blank expression and told that the website was incorrect, sorry!
I also found it expensive and was extremely annoyed after I had paid in full for 2 Mini spa half days at £65 each that a 2 for 1 offer was then offered to me!
However, on the plus side there were lots of nice towels and moisturisers to use and the treatments were excellent. I had a mini facial and my daughter had a hand and foot massage and we found these to be fabulous!
I have complained to them but they not bother to reply to my emails - would I go again? maybe not!!
