Whittlebury Hall, Towcester - 4 bubbles

Two Spies were invited to Whittlebury to try out their day spa. The heat and ice experience offers an atmosphere that's just right for friends to have fun, and the treatments were smoothing and soothing.

"Well I never actually got to use the spa I booked treatment via email at short notice excellent service so far until I receieved several emails stating if I did not pay the excess £5 over and above my £100 voucher for the treatments I booked my appointments would be cancelled. The emails were rude not even the common courtesy of addressing them to me by name and a complaint to the General Manager who claims that such exchanges are not rude. Customer service is not high priority for Whittlebury Spa and I intend taking the matter further. Not the relaxing experience I was hoping for and I'm £100 out of pocket since I would never go to such a hostile rude place."

"I think the Spa itself must write the top bit of this? Seems a little too good to be true ..

First visit to W.H. the staff were particularly unhelpful and we came away more stressed than relaxed. THEY were always right :-(
treatments were particularly sub-optimum.
Second visit - different people to see if it was better proved 'average' however no one was rude to them, although slightly patronising to 2 under 30's - both Dr's who kept quiet.
We have decided (? foolishly now)to give it a third and last try as a small group.
We wait and see..... so far ... only one difficulty on the phone re booking treatments.

I have treatments 4weekly and go to spas at least 4 or 5 time per annum - there are many others out there who could help WH with approach etc.

Watch this space."
