SenSpa at Careys Manor, Brockenhurst - 5 bubbles

Sedate Spy and friend were invited to SenSpa in the New Forest to sample this authentic Thai-themed spa. She found high-quality treatments and an impressive hydrotherapy complex. A consistently excellent spa, we've awarded SenSpa our full 5 bubbles for the third time.

"I treated my best friend to an evening at the senspa for her birthday as a surprise.

From the moment I contacted them I was impressed. Their staff member 'Sarah' took my calls and went through the options with me, all of which were very tempting and she explained the various special offers that are currently available as well as ones which would be available in the future.

I chose an evening indulgence package at £70pp, which included a 3 course dinner. There were no treatments although I was assured we could add them on on arrival if we so wished.

The facilities at Senspa are extraordinary and the best I have experienced in the UK. The staff are friendly and extremely attentive on arrival, which puts you at ease straight away. There is complimentary Thai green tea, which is bought to you on arrival and then available throughout the day in the experience lounge along with water.

This spa is large, quiet, beautiful, luxurious but also friendly and of course relaxed and relaxing."

"I am so glad I discovered the Senspa. After reading the review from the previous spa goer I was in two minds about it, but as my friend and I live 40 minutes away and the other reviews are good we decided to give it a go. I'm so glad I did. It was perfect from the minute I walked in the door and was greeted by friendly, smiling faces to my departure. The staff are a credit to this spa. They have the knack of making you feel special and looked after. You would be hard pressed to find better treatments and as we were celebrating, we did indulge ourselves. I had a Prana Body Polish followed by Traditional Thai massage and then a Soothing Facial. My friend had a Slimmers Wrap followed by a Slimmers massage. Amazing treatments, amazing therapists. Together with a delicious Thai lunch served in the beautiful Zen Garden restaurant, the spectacular hydrotherapy facilities, comfy Thai pyjamas to wear, peaceful relaxation areas and a lovely relaxation class, it all added up to pure bliss and much needed pampering rest. The only tough part of the day was leaving. I would recommend the SenSpa to anyone with high expectations who is looking for something different."
