Nirvana Spa, Wokingham - 4 bubbles

The Good Spa Spies fluttered off in a flock to Nirvana, the dedicated day spa. They had a wonderful day out, a celestial float and some lovely lounging. Spa heaven indeed. There's so much to do that you should definitely plan to spend a whole day in Nirvana, to make the most of the pools, the gym, and the heat facilities. And the cake.

"My mother and I have been going to this Spa for about 11 years. Standards have slipped over the years, some staff are are unprofessional. Last time we went we were both booked in for our flotation treatment which was to take place in 15 mins (we were running late) and the front doors were locked so we could not get in! We kept knocking on the door and even phoned the reception where we could see a member of staff at reception through the window, and she didn't even answer the phone!!! after 10 mins of being stuck outside she realised we were there and let us in. There was no urgency in her actions or apologies, I was absoloutely disgusted!! Overall the whole standard of the spa has dropped completely, it's very unprofessional, especially one lady member of staff at the garden cafe who at this visit while I was waiting to be served, I could see was talking and laughing about customers, disgusting!! No class, no standards, we will be cancelling our membership. "

"Went to Nirvana Spa today with a friend as part of my Countrywide Spa 3 membership where I get 3 visits plus 3 guest passes. This is my 7th visit to Nirvana over the past 8 years or so - and the second visit in a month! Every time I have been the staff are friendly, food brilliant and the spa itself clean, peaceful and there is plenty to keep you going back as there are so many different facilities.
What was brilliant today was the new outdoor area with pool, loungers and seating and hot tubs. The garden area has been cleverly designed with the loungers and hot tubs in their own zones making it quiet and secluded.
We didn't have any treatment today and still found there was loads to do. A really relaxing day - can't wait to use my third visit and will definitely be looking out for offers again in the future."
