I went to this spa with my mum for a joint mothers' day/birthday treat. Sadly, we received a very poor reception. On arrival, the hotel was very shabby and mostly is used for large tour groups. This is fine, but not what you want from a spa day. The spa itself had cancelled our booking without informing us, which meant a 100 mile round journey, with no treatments. We asked to rebook then were told this wasn't possible. We are still waiting to see if we will be given a refund. Given that this was a special treat I purchased for my mum, it really did ruin our day, and I wouldn't trust them again.

The pool was a good size, and there was a steam room and sauna. Showers were cold. Nothing special and no products to use in the shower. Altogether disappointing and left us very upset about the way we were treated."
