Green Street House, Bath - 4 bubbles

The city-centre treatment rooms of Green Street House offer a friendly, welcoming environment for spa first-timers and experienced spa-goers. Our Spy was invited to the Georigian townhouse to experience the Elemis Cooling Hot Stone Body Facial. Confused? So was she, until she tried it. With the bubble wrap in her shoulders unknotted, and her skin visibly different, she returned to Spa HQ with a spring in her step (and some sausages).

"I booked two Dermalogica Express facials for my mother and ssiter. This should have been 30 mins plus 15 mins consultation. I was appalled to find that my sister was out after 15/20 mins and my mother after 30 minutes. Neither had been told what creams and potions were being used nor given the usual Dermalogica facial map analysis sheet. I won't be using GSH again!"

"I've been coming to Green Street House since they first opened eight years ago. I don't live in the Bath area but have family close by, and every time I come to visit them, I always try to incorporate a lovely treatment or two into my schedule!! The staff are all very helpful and very professional. I would recommend a trip to this lovely day spa to any of my friends and family, and look forward to my next visit in a few months time!!! "

"The cost of a French manicure was £40, which was considerably more expensive than other established salons in Bath. This would have been ok if the treatment was better in some way but when we had to go into a side bathroom to exfoliate & wash our own hands, and the chair & foot spa were very basic it didn't feel like much of a treat. Not worth the extra money I'm afraid."
