Grayshott Spa, Hindhead - 4 bubbles

Grayshott is a peaceful, rural, destination spa. Great treatments, delicious food, indoor and outdoor pools, plenty of activities and impressive gardens. Our Spies loved the combination of olde-worlde charm and modern spa. If the taxi hadn't arrived to take them to the station, they'd probably still be there!

"As this was our first spa experience in the UK we were immediately impressed with the atmosphere and friendly welcome from the reception staff and in fact wish to praise all the staff at Grayshott for their care and attention.
The treatment therapists were extremely knowledgeable and we both enjoyed some very relaxing massages. Our bedroom accommodation was luxurious and very comfortable although we did find the room to be too warm. In fact our only complaint during our stay was the very high temperature in the hotel which did make us feel a little uncomfortable at times. We found the selection of food excellent with a varied choice...and healthy to boot!
We would have liked to have stayed longer to have time to enjoy all the facilities on offer and take in some of the walks around the grounds of this beautiful country house. We left feeling totally relaxed and stress free and would most definitely recommend a stay at Grayshott. We will look forward to our next visit.

"I would not recommend this spa at all. On arrival we failed to get a porter and no-one showed us where our room was so we were left dragging luggage around the buildings. When we finally found our room it was next to a generator so no chance of sleep. We moved room, which was a slight improvement, but it was still a 'garden room' so surrounded by spa and swimming pool generators. Not exactly quiet and relaxing and definitely no good if you have a sleep problem.
The food was excellent - although we did pop to the coop after dinner as we were still hungry, and the tennis was good, but the treatments are overpriced and we weren't shown the free facilities until the next day when we were leaving. All in all a big disappointment."
