  We Say

"This modern spa hotel offers the most comprehensive spa facilities in the North West, and it's affordable, too. We loved relaxing in the hydrotherapy pool, bathed in natural light and with views out onto the Lancashire countryside."

The Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall Village, near Preston - 5 bubbles

Ribby Hall Village, a luxury self-catering holiday park near Blackpool, is also home to a sleek, ultra-modern spa hotel. This adult-only spa's offering is more comprehensive than any other spa in the North West; the two-hour "Aqua Thermal Journey" includes seven different heat experiences, plus there is an indoor hydro pool, outdoor spa pool and sauna, fourteen treatment rooms, a champagne bar and brasserie! There's a great sense of space and natural light throughout, with views onto the Lancashire countryside. A good-value spa that doesn't compromise on quality.

"I recently visited this brand new spa with my sister and mother as a pamper treat before my sister's wedding. We had an absolutely amazing time. The facilities are beautiful and definitely up to standard. It is a similar experience to those offered at centre parcs spas. We experienced the aqua thermal journey which at £27 per person is an absolute bargain. The only thing which I would suggest to improve the facilities further would be more mood lighting and themes in some of the rooms but they really were all of a very high standard.
My sister and I had a rasul mud treatment too which was lovely, perhaps mirrors/hangers/tables could be added to the private preparation room for ease of getting ready! The treatment was lovely though and I felt completely refreshed after.
My favourite thing about this spa was the calm atmosphere, excellent outside jacuzzi and beautiful facilities (including hire of robes/towels/slippers and hair straighteners).
I will definitely visit soon!"
