"Just got back from a spa day here and had a lovely day, this was a treat for my mum after a bad year and it was just what we needed. They charge for robes, towels and slippers hire but it is only £2 and you get to keep the slippers!
The staff were lovely and the massages were just what we needed. The gym was nearly empty so we didnt feel embarrased trying to use the equipment.
Great value for money, will definately be back, mum already mentioned mothers day whilst we there!"

"It's a small gym at that, but it's certainly not a spa.

You have to pay extra for a towel, there are no shampoos and lotions in the changing room, and onyl two chairs crammed down the side of the pool on which to sit.

If you want to go to a spa, don't bother with here...if you want to go to a gym you can do better than here too."

"As promised I am writing to tell you about the day. We went yesterday to the Bannatyne in Millbank on the two for one deal for £99. Although we had to have our treatments early, we had great fun. The facials and massages were very good (possibly not excellent but very very nice); used the gym (a rarity for me!) and then had ages going from the pool to sauna to pool to jacuzzi to steam room etc. The place was all but empty. The slight annoyances included us taking towels when they provided them; not being able to buy a snack (we took a sandwich but I got hungry!) and the changing room was a bit chilly.

The staff was friendly and not in your face and our almost 5 hours there was really great.

Thanks for your advice."
