"I've been at Ajala Spa at the Grange Hotel twice at weekends, and had a bad experience on both occasion. It appears that the management doesn't work at the weekend and the beautician have to run the shop on top of doing their job. No one seems to be in charge or knows what going on, we had to chase them and remind them of our treatments, people were left waiting for their treatment for half an hour to be told they will have to wait even longer because they were no beautician available.The facilities and the treatments are great but the whole place it so badly managed it spoiled our experience."

"The Hotel was absolutely stunning and would go back again. The Spa however was very disappointing and did not live up to the standard of service of the hotel. I booked 2 X half hour back massages and 30 minutes in the sun room for myself and my boyfriend. We were the last clients for the day and we really noticed it. The massage that my boyfriend received was very rushed and no care was taken and therefore not very relaxing for him. We got into the sun room late because the previous clients did not vacate at the time we were supposed to use the room and therefore didn't received the full 30 minutes. The towels on the beds had been used by previous clients, and the remains of strawberries and cream and dirty champagne glasses were left in the room. There were also no glasses available outside of the room for water/juice. It really seemed like the end of the day and that the staff did not care about making the time special for us and were desperate to finish work. I would not go back for spa treatments at this hotel unless the service improves. What a shame as it really would not take too much to improve and would make such a difference. "
