Lion Quays Waterside Resort, Oswestry - 5 bubbles

One of the Good Spa Spies was invited to try the spa at this expansive, modern leisure and business resort on the England/Wales border. She was wowed by the extensive, well-kept facilities, the unusual, international-themed treatments and the friendly, professional staff.

"Great spa, with fantastic facilities and treatments. BUT on this occasion the lunch was Inedible. Previously we've been and had lunch off a menu, this time it was a buffet of burgers hot dogs (I assume left over from the evening before USA night) and the vegetarian option Brussels sprout and chestnut lasagne, worse than it sounds. Shame as it ruined a great day and was not up to standard you'd expect."

"What can I say...amaing spa...amazing location...(stunning hotel)...staff that can;t do enough to help. The spa is fantastic, booked an overnight spa break and we were extremely impressed with the facilities...there were a group of us and we had lunch, then Afternoon Tea....then later still cocktails!!!

The snow cave is brilliant and there is so much room even on a busy Saturday...treatment fab as well...will deffinately return when I save up again!"
