Ushvani, Chelsea - 5 bubbles
Ushvani is a luxurious day spa that offers Malaysian treatments in a calm and private environment. The treatments are timed so you have the hydrotherapy pool and steam room to yourself, and are personalised to your needs. The delicious Ushvani products use natural ingredients, in keeping with the spa's philosophy of holistic well-being. The spa is pricy but perfect if you're after mental relaxation as well as physical harmony.

"I visited Ushvani whilst on a business trip, it was recommended to me by my hotel. I thought I would try something new and I am pleased that I did. The service was amazing I felt like a queen. I was treated by a lovely girl called Nicola I think. I wouldn't say I have experienced a better massage anywhere before and they were able to accomadate me for a late evening booking. After a day of conferences it was most needed! Carmen x"

"As an avid spa goer, when I heard that a little piece of Asia had landed right round the corner from me I definitely had to come and have a look/feel round. I was not disappointed, stepping through a discreet doorway which much made me feel like walking through the wardrobe in Narnia I entered a world of serene luxury. Having my baggage removed I was guided down into the warm tropical hydrotherapy area where I was left alone to splash around not sharing the pool, steam room or interesting shower with any other lucky Ushvani guests.
I was then collected by my therapist who carried out the most soporific and relaxing facial I have ever had. My other favourite thing was that not once did she leave the room, all of my time was filled with hand massages, foot massages and wonderful natural products leaving me feeling truly reborn.
That was my first time at Ushvani and I know it most definitely will not be my last.

"I am now officially addicted to Ushvani. Why? Because: • they treat me as a VIP. • it is wonderfully quiet and discreet. • it feels like a little bit of Malaysia. • the Malay massage is the best I've ever had. • I adore their products especially the Ushvani Balm...I use use it for migranes...magical. One of the best spas I've been to."

"I think this Spa doesn't really know what it wants to be?! It's very formal and stiff, treatments are ok, nothing different to Espa or Elemis treatments and very over priced. The products have a cheap smell and I didn't like the fact that absolutely nobody else was in the spa during the time I was there. I do like privacy but there is no atmosphere and a very odd smell which I was told was some sort of plant. Thankfully I didn't have to pay the hefty price as it was a gift. Saying that, I wouldn't choose to return to Ushvani Spa as there is MUCH better in London :-)"
