Lifehouse Country Spa Resort is a modern retreat spa that offers unusual treatments, good food and a delightful environment. The contemporary design is impressive. Sybaritic Spy and Spouse enjoyed the bathing ceremony, the pool and the heat experiences, but felt that the spaces could do with being warmer in the winter. This dedicated spa offers good value, a wide range of activities, and will appeal to those who want to focus on their wellness.

"the poor customer service, indifference (verging on rudeness) of many of the staff and the serious and multiple inaccuracies and overcharging on our final invoice spoilt our visit to a lovely environment, with good food and wide variety of activities and treatments. "

"I stayed at Lifehouse Spa in May 2011, despite being in Essex the journey was very easy, just an hour train ride from central London, and we were met at the station. It was fantastic.. great service, clean, modern surroundings and wonderful treatments and food. I tried the Oriental Bathing Experince which is one of their signature treatments, it was amazing and I will definately be going back.

I think a break at Lifehouse would be a great for couples, mums and daughters and a group of girl friends."
