Ufford Park Hotel, Woodbridge - 4 bubbles

Sedate Spy was invited to Ufford Park, just 10 miles from Ipswich in the picturesque Suffolk countryside. She found that the health club and spa offer a variety of relaxing facilities and a wide range of treatments which, when combined, deliver a complete pamper experience.

"A friendly face to greet you at the reception with all the information needed for your day/afternoon. Therapist introduced herself and explained all the treatments available for our hours treatment, was surprised with the variety of treatments available and how knowledgeable the therpaist was on every treatment.
We were given a bag with a robe and towel and then shown to the changing rooms, very clean (no need to look down for hairs). The therapist took us around the spa area (pool, jacuzzi, sauna) and then took us to the thermal suite. I wasnt sure what to expect but it was very bright and clean with many a rooms to enjoy to help you relax. The therapist explained how it worked and then left us to enjoy.
The aroma steam room, mineral grotto, and sauna were the warm treaments available. Here i felt i could relax, almost fall asleep. Inbetween each hot treatment i bared to try the cold treatments. The only incentive of rubbing ice on my legs was the thought of it maybe getting rid of my cellulite. The warm pool enabled you to relax with the jets massaging different body parts while looking up into the sky through the big glass windows.
After a few hours of enjoying and relaxing the therpist came to greet us and took us to our room where we both enjoyed an hours worth of treatment. One having a full body massage with hot stones on the back and the other a back massage with hot stones and mini facial.
The room was clean, airy and fresh. The therapist explained each treatment and then began with the hot stone treatment. The pressure was just right and she knew all the right places and pressure points to massage. My mini facial was amazing, talk about being relaxed. She asked about my skin type and used the appropriate cream, immediately you could tell the cream was expensive and i could feel the benefits from it.
I thoroughly enjoyed both treatments and would recommend either of them. The therapist was well trained which you could tell from by her technique. I love to be pampered and this is certainly what i receieved from Ufford park. I would definatley go back to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi, thermal suite and to choose from the list of the different treatments available here."
