"This hotel is a little bit tired in places, and the spa is no exception. The atmosphere is more of a holiday park leisure centre (membership is available to local residents), and I would not really rate it as a "spa experience".
No robes are provided, only (thinnish) towels, and there are only three poolside chairs - with the cheesy pop music it doesn't aid relaxing. There is a bar/cafe overlooking the pool which is OK. The facilities (pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room) are all clean and in good condition, the changing rooms show signs of effort (pictures etc.) but we did spot some maintenance issues. The gym is large, airy and modern although some of the machines would benefit from a tune-up. Our Elemis treatments were given professionally in light and comfortable rooms, and a relaxation room was a nice touch afterwards. We paid £119pp for a light lunch, spa use, one 30-min treatment, 3-course evening meal, bed and breakfast. We felt it was OK but nothing very special. "
