Introduction
The Renew Rose anti-ageing facial is one of the most popular Aromatherapy Associates facials. It’s specially designed for mature, dry skin. The Renew product range contains rose oil and frankincense to smooth and soften the skin.
This facial targets lines and wrinkles, using a holistic and more natural approach to help diminish the signs of ageing.
Products used
Aromatherapy Associates were established in 1985 by aromatherapists Sue Beechey and Geraldine Howard. The product range and spa treatments have proven very popular as the demand for aromatherapy has grown.
The treatment
The therapist will start by performing a soothing back massage using a rose body oil, to help relax and ease your tired muscles. She will then cleanse and exfoliate your face.
The therapist will give a relaxing pressure point massage using Aromatherapy Associates Intensive Skin Tissue Oil to aid cell renewal.
She will apply a double layer of rejuvenating mud mask and hydrating gel to help soothe the skin. The treatment continues with an application of Aromatherapy Associates’ star product Rose and Frankincense Facial Oil. This is applied using a relaxing but firm massage, concentrating on the areas of the face most affected by ageing. The therapist will end the treatment by applying a hydrating skin serum which contains evening primrose oil.
What to expect
Your skin will be left feeling conditioned and toned. Fine lines and wrinkles should be less visible.
