Can I use a sauna/Jacuzzi/have an all-over massage if I have my period?

If you are comfortable swimming during your period, then you'll be fine.

Statistically about 20-25 per cent of the women at a spa are likely to have their period when they are there, so you won't be alone. If you are comfortable going swimming during your period, then you should be fine using the pool and Jacuzzi at a spa. Tampons are so good that leakage is unlikely to be a problem, especially if you change the tampon every couple of hours. If you have very heavy periods and prefer not to swim during them try to time your visit for just after your period. That way you won't have to miss out on any of the spa facilities.
