How long should a good manicure last?
If you look after your nails following a manicure, the polish may remain chip-free for a week, and if you're particularly careful, then you may even get a little longer out of it.
If undercoat, polish and topcoat are applied well, then it will be fairly resilient, but don't expect it to last if you decide to do some gardening the day after! Try to look after your nails by wearing gloves when you do household chores, and watch out for sharp edges and ring-pulls that are likely to damage the polish. If you do take care of your nails and you notice the polish start to flake at the edges after only a couple of days, then the manicure may not have been up to scratch.
