What happens if I run late for appointments? There is just so much I want to do.
It's tempting to try to sample everything a spa has to offer, and to go to all the advertised events on the programme, but you can end up exhausted rather than relaxed.
If you are late for a treatment, it's unlikely the time can be extended, as someone else will be booked in after you, so you will only get part of the treatment you have paid for. Plan to arrive at a day spa at least 20 and preferably 30 minutes before your first appointment. At a residential spa, plan to be ten minutes early for each treatment. Have a glass of water, read a magazine or just chill out.
