I've been feeling really tired and run down. What treatments will help me feel better?

Some spas offer specific breaks and packages aimed at "a new you" when you're trying to improve your general health.

The good thing about a spa break is that you will often meet other people who are making resolutions to change their lives, as well. Time away at a spa can provide a really good chance to review your lifestyle and begin to make changes. But even if you just book to stay a couple of nights, you may well find the "me time" is just what you need to review your life.

Many spas offer a counselling session to help you put things in perspective and make decisions about the future. This can be useful to help you crystallise your own thoughts. You may also like to set yourself some new challenges, such as booking in for a form of exercise that you have never tried before - pitch in for Pilates or turn up for some Tai Chi.

Be kind to yourself with a couple of beauty treatments such as lymphatic drainage, a manicure and pedicure or a wrap, and after a few days you should leave with a spring in your step.
