Is there a limit to the number of treatments I should plan in a day?
Yes, you can have too much of a good thing. A good spa experience is all about relaxation, so try not to cram in too much, however tempting.
Three or four treatments are probably ample for each day. Dawn to dusk treatments will be both tiring and expensive.
If you are going to unwind and de-stress, you won't achieve your aim if you are rushing from appointment to appointment. Divide the treatment times up with other activities. Allow plenty of time for trying an exercise class or just to swim, or relax in the Jacuzzi and sauna.
You may well find that you are very tired once you begin to unwind and need a daytime snooze, as well. Add in a leisurely lunch, a stroll round the grounds, some time sitting reading, or just being, and three treatments is probably as much as you will want.
Put aside half an hour before a massage for a swim and steam, so your muscles are nicely loose, and allow half an hour after to rest. Limit heat treatments to three a day to prevent dehydration.
