Are there any spas just for men?
There are plenty, and some mixed spas have men-only areas.
Spas such as the Refinery or Nickel in London cater only for men and have a little of the ethos (if not necessarily the look) of the old luxury barbershop, offering everything from wet shaves to full-body massage and waxing. Many are geared up for dealing with men who are new to the whole experience, and will allay any nervousness about what's involved.
Some spas, such as the Mandarin Oriental, have men-only locker rooms, and some, such as Pennyhill Park and Peak Health Club and Spa, have men-only areas within their spa complex. So, if you think you'd be more comfortable in an all-male environment, you can certainly find one.
