Spa Find
Founded in 1981, Finders International has long been a pioneer of "Dead Sea" and "healing-earth" spa therapies. The therapies are based on a belief in the relaxing, uplifting and health-giving properties of natural, earth-given ingredients. Their two retail ranges are Dead Sea Spa Magik, their home range, and Spa Find, their professional spa range, which is used for spa treatments.
Spa Find offers skin-friendly formulas (particularly good for those who suffer from dreaded spots), blending natural de-ionised water with pure Dead Sea minerals and organic plant extracts. The products contain allergen-free fragrance and no parabens, genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or animal ingredients.
They say: "It is essential to keep the minerals within our body at the correct level as any imbalance can cause a number of skin conditions and health concerns. We are made up of minerals, so by using our authentic Dead Sea mineral products, you will help rebalance your body, giving inner health and a youthful appearance."
We say: "We love the fact that the products effectively do what they set out to do. Great for all skin types including very sensitive (although we are slightly less convinced by the hair products). We are happy Spies who have found Spa Find!"

Application: This cream is light so is easy to apply. The rejuvenator soaks in well but seems to plump up my skin, rather than soaking in and tightening it. What's in it? Spa Find's signature "de-ionised water with pure Dead Sea Minerals: Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium, Sodium as Bromides, Chlorides and Sulphates", shea butter and vitamins A, C and E. Effect: My neck looks much better after using this every day for a couple of weeks. This product brightened my skin as well. This product is so good, I find myself using it on the rest of my face as well as my neck and eyes. Verdict: I'm hooked. I'm impressed. I'm glad I've discovered this. |

Application: This product which seems to have a higher ratio of salt to oil than other scrubs I have tried, but it works well, rinses off to leave your skin smooth, and smells invigorating.
What's in it? A heady mix of borage, evening primrose and grapeseed, all included for their anti-ageing properties. In there also are aloe vera, grapefruit and jasmine extracts, which soothe and heal. Effect: You only need to use this scrub once or twice a week for good results. If you're using it in the bath, take care as you get out, as you will be slippery. The scrub removes dead skin cells, and the Dead Sea minerals help nurture the new skin underneath. Verdict: An intense body buff that's especially good for mature skin. |

Application: I found I only needed to massage a small amount of the cleanser over the whole of my face. I did as instructed by concentrating on the area that holds most of the impurities: my T-zone. You can use this product in a variety of ways, e.g. on a cotton pad to remove make-up, or left on for five minutes as a cleansing mask. What's in it? Extracts of horsetail, marshmallow, rosemary, chamomile, Vitamin E. Effect: This product left my skin feeling very soft, was perfect for hydrating my skin as well as removing make-up (including hardy waterproof mascara), and did not bring me out in spots either. Fantastic. Verdict: A winner! Great for sensitive and dry skin - and at a good price. |

Application: This spray omits a satisfying mist of lightly fragranced liquid (chamomile being the scent that shone through), which immediately felt cooling and refreshing. What's in it? This energising toner contains pure Dead Sea minerals, vitamin E, B5 (apparently good for treating acne), chamomile, as well as extracts of horsetail, marshmallow and rosemary. Effect: I found this toner to be hydrating and cleansing, although it also seems to do a pretty darn good job of cleansing most of the impurities from my face. This toner didn't clog my pores (as many products do) and I enjoyed being relatively spot-free whilst using the cleanser and toner. Verdict: Light, cooling, refreshing. A positive combination with the matching cleanser. |

Application: I found this mask very easy to apply as it is thick enough not to drip, but smooth and creamy enough to glide over the skin evenly. Despite it being a mud-based mask, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't become too dry either. I left the mask on for the recommended 15 minutes, then removed it easily with a damp cotton-wool pad.. What's in it? Dead Sea mud, shea butter, vitamins B5 and E. Effect: Although this mask is recommended for dry, mature and sensitive skin, my combination skin felt the benefit, too. My skin looked clear and bright, felt taut and smooth, and energised! Verdict: A mask which does what it says on the tin! |

Application: II applied the putty-coloured minty shampoo to my hair, it lathered up fine and was easy enough to rinse out. I wasn't won over by the scent or the fawn-coloured flecks of soap left up my shower walls. The conditioner was a similar taupe colour, but with tiny black flecks. The conditioner felt quite thick and was easy to apply to my hair, but had a strong scent that was reminiscent of an old-fashioned moisturiser. The scalp mud can also be used on the body as an all-over hydrating mask. What's in it? Coconut, grapefruit and peach extracts. Effect: After use, I left my hair to dry naturally in an attempt to maximise moisturisation benefits, but found my hair felt heavy and slightly sticky afterwards. Verdict: Clean list of ingredients, but left hair feeling less than clean itself. Perhaps good for a once-a-week hair treat, but not for every day. |
