Woolley Grange: a spa escape for the whole family
"Woolley Grange was the original Luxury Family Hotel, opened by Nigel Chapman in 1989.
The original concept was to offer parents the luxury hotel environment for all the family. Children have always been an integral part of Woolley and they are positively welcomed. From the Ofsted–registered Woolley Bears Den, offering child care from birth upwards, to the simplicity of having baby equipment and baby listening in all rooms, Woolley is a relaxed treat for the whole family.
Families and children have changed over the past twenty years but the ambience at Woolley is still very special - the lingering smell of beeswax, log fires in the winter, lavender from the garden in summer, comforting surroundings and fabulous food, continue to make this a very special place for a family break.
Our new spa has been unveiled to reveal a beautiful building. Blending into the bath stone wall of the kitchen garden the building is complemented by new bath stone and natural oak timber. The roof seems to float below the kitchen garden wall and with full length glass windows the view from the pool is breathtaking.
Interesting facts:
The building has required 55 tonnes of natural Cotswold stone and 10 km of timber including seasoned oak. The building really blends into its environment.
Located in the Walled Garden, The Spa at Woolley Grange has a very relaxed ambience, the pool is available at all times for family swims and the gardens are will become a feature of the area creating a great backdrop to the pool area.
The treatment menu using [Comfort Zone] takes inspiration from the garden, featuring herbs, flowers and vegetable ingredients, the experience is relaxing and therapeutic.
