Swimming pool - relaxation or exercise
Use our swimming pool for fun, relaxation or exercise.
Swimming is a great form of exercise; because our density is approximately similar to that of water, the body is supported and less stress is placed on joints and bones.
Swimming is primarily an aerobic exercise due to the relatively long exercise time, requiring constant oxygen supply to the muscles, except for short sprints where the muscles work anaerobically. As with most aerobic exercise it is believed to reduce the harmful effects of stress. For those of you wishing to enjoy the water without getting in, we have a Glass Treatment room suspended over the pool where you can enjoy the calming influence of the water which is one of the key elements of Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of space to attempt to achieve harmony with the environment.
Gym
Within our luxurious Spa, we have a fully equipped gym with flat screen TVs, air-conditioning and refreshments. Catch up on the current events, or work out to music on our cardio-vascular and exercise equipment which includes:-
