The Treatment Rooms describe an Eve Lom facial

"More of a ritual than just a facial"
Clare Rogers, owner of The Treatment Rooms, gives the lowdown on The Eve Lom facial.
This exclusive treatment is currently offered by only a handful of spas in the UK, including The Treatment Rooms in Brighton.
What is an Eve Lom Facial?
"The Eve Lom facial is more of a ritual than just a regular high street facial. The therapist pays their utmost attention to the client, to their bodily comfort on the couch and the room temperature, in order to acquire a relaxed state of mind. The focus on the therapist's wellbeing is of equal importance so that she is in a light and positive mood to give and receive!
Cleansing
The treatment starts with the therapist removing the client's make-up by lightly massaging with the Eve Lom cleanser - "probably the best cleanser in the world" (as quoted in Vogue).
Hot Mask
She will then brush a hot mask made of aromatic oils on to the skin in order to soften dry skin, sebum in pores and loosen the city grime. The extractions are then easier and less traumatic especially by performing them with linen rather than tissues!
Massage
The therapist uses lymphatic massage to help the drainage of any congestion and puffiness under the eyes that may be due to blocked sinuses, hay fever and allergies.
Tight chests often hold anxiety and stress which makes the intercostal muscles tight and rigid, and shallow breathing makes the diaphragm lazy! A gentle massage helps to clear those self-inflicted conditions by increasing the blood flow in the body.
Firm fingers dancing on the back and neck help the facial muscles to relax, promoting rejuvenation.
As the skin gains suppleness under the massage it gathers more dead cells on the face - the therapist will remove these using the Eve Lom Rescue Mask which will leave the skin feeling squeaky clean and give it a unique and healthy glow.
Advice on how to care for the skin after the treatment is paramount so that the glow acquired during the facial remains for as long as possible."
