"Armathwaite Hall Country House Hotel and Spa is a privately owned, 17th century former stately home situated in 400 acres of private estate in the beautiful English Lake District. The Hall has 42 bedrooms of individual character, wood panelled lounges, real log fire, and a lake view restaurant. We have our own wildlife park on the estate free for residents to explore, we offer country pursuits of clay pigeon shooting, quad biking for those wanting a bit of adventure and for those just wanting to relax and rejuvenate, The Spa at Armathwaite Hall, which opened in January 2009.

The Spa at Armathwaite Hall has been created as a timeless, yet contemporary countryside spa within the stunning rural setting of the English Lake District, offering a relaxed, high comfort, luxurious spa facility. Guests will enjoy a bespoke and personalized spa experience, with an extensive range of treatments and therapies from the renowned product houses [comfort zone] and Terrake designed to enhance all aspects of well-being and relaxation.
The facilities:
The Spa offers the following facilities: a 16-metre infinity pool, shallow non-swimmers pool, out-door hot-tub, thermal suite including a hydrotherapy pool with neck shower, Aroma room, steam room, sauna, experience tropical shower, rain dance shower, state of the art gymnasium with Life Fitness Elevation equipment featuring a "Virtual trainer" and a spacious dance studio. Also featured are ten treatment rooms, including a double treatment room with private whirlpool bath, a "Hush" tranquility room, manicure, pedicure and make-up area, and stunning spa lounge with an awesome feature fireplace.
